📚 Vermillion County Public Library's mission is to provide patrons access to a wide range of materials, services, applications, and programs to inform, educate & entertain. VCPL serves Eugene, Helt, Highland, and Vermillion townships in Vermillion County, Indiana. 📚
VCPL offers traditional collections including fiction and non-fiction books for all ages, CD audiobooks, DVDs, and graphic novels. We also have special collections featuring: Playaways, Tonie Boxes with characters, and Nintendo Switch games.
We have a variety of programming each month from babies to adults including:
- storytime on Wednesday and Thursday mornings
- Thursday after school programs including crafts, movies, game nights, and more
- a Summer Reading program for all ages
- BINGO and Book Club for adults
- special programs like family holiday events, fun kids activities during spring/fall break, arts and crafts programs/classes for different age groups, and more
We also have a wide variety of other services available: meeting rooms with up-to-date technology, full kitchen with stove and refrigerator, gymnasium - all available to rent - as well as quiet spaces for study or work, printing, copying, and faxing; and notary services.
Vermillion County Public Library (the "District") is committed to ensuring that its services are accessible to all
members of the public. As part of this commitment, the District strives to provide an accessible website compatible with
the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, AA, and commercial screen reading software. Features of the
website are created to allow individuals with vision and other impairments to understand and use the website to the same
